 Brig Seaver is a former Federal Government Employee, also a Navy Veteran
and Reserve Retiree. He retired Jan 4, 2006 from the FAA
Technical Center in Atlantic City, New
Jersey, where he spent his last 15 years as a Computer Scientist. Before beginning his career with the FAA he worked
at the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard for twelve years as a Mathematician and Computer Specialist.
With twenty-seven years in the computer field, Brig specialized in operating systems and software configuration management, and has an excellent working knowledge of Unix, Linux, DOS, Novell Netware, all Microsoft Windows platforms, and numerous mini- and micro-computer based software applications. He has a good programming
background, long experience with networking, and is at the forefront of internet
application development. Brig has a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology from the Florida State University. A Navy veteran, he retired from the United States Naval
Reserve on 1 April 2000. He resides in Cooperstown,
New York with his wife Louise. Brig and Louise have two children, Robert who lives in Texas, and John now in
Upstate New York.
Brig's hobbies include running, swimming, weight-lifting, boating,and weather observation.
He is a former lifeguard ,member of the Upper Township
Beach Patrol, Strathmere NJ; also a past member of the
